Principal Software Engineer
Position SummaryWhat you'll doWe are looking for a highly motivated frontend technical expert to join the Health & Wellness Digital team.
You will be responsible for leading large scale cross-org web and mobile projects which touch many parts of the enterprise.
You'll work closely with product, design, business and engineering leadership to build high-performing, scalable, and secure software solutions for millions of Walmart pharmacy customers.
This is a hands-on role, extensive Web and IOS development experience is required.
About Team:
Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders.
We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy.
We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites.
What you'll do:
Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers focused on building web and mobile solutions Be technical partner to engineering managers and collaborate on - strategic engineering planning , roadmap sequencing, prioritization technical investments, providing technical feedback on their reports Work closely with Business, Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to define upcoming projects and longer-term strategy for the team Make hands-on engineering contribution to the core products Mentor engineers on the team Promote a culture of Technical Excellence What you'll bring:

years of software engineering experience, with 3
