The BOM collaborates closely with the Administrator, Admissions, Social Services, MDS Coordinator and reception staff to ensure an efficient, accurate and professional economic transaction process for residents and payor sources.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Responsible for all private pay billing for facility residents.
Provides information to and supports Shared Services team for all other payors (Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, Other) Monitors and follows up on all accounts receivable for current and past facility residents and coordinates collection activities with the Shared Services team.
Monitors and pursues Medicaid pending accounts with Shared Services.
Provides standardized and ad hoc financial reports to Administrator and Finance team as needed.
Collaborates with Admissions and Social Services to explain the financial obligations and resources available to facility residents and family members.
Supervises receptionist staff to ensure adequate staffing and job duty fulfillment.
Maintains resident trust fund accounts and required surety bond(s).
Performs analysis and reconciliation.
Puts Customer service First:
Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights Experience Requirements:
Skilled Nursing Facility experience required Bachelor's degree in Business preferred Job Type:
