Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Event Assistant.
The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and promotional events.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management and develop skills in organization, communication, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of events, including venue selection, catering arrangements, equipment rental, and logistics coordination.
Provide administrative support, such as managing RSVP lists, preparing event materials, and maintaining event calendars.
Assist with on-site event management, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and breakdown.
Support marketing efforts by promoting events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, compiling event reports, and evaluating event success metrics.
Handle inquiries and provide assistance to event attendees before, during, and after events.
Maintain inventory of event supplies and materials, and assist with procurement as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event management.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software/tools.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
