Windows System Admin
Job Description:
As a Systems Engineer L2, will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the organization's IT systems.
You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1.
System Administration:
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, operating systems, and related hardware and software.
Perform system upgrades and apply patches to ensure security and optimal performance.
Proactive approach to problem-solving Event log analysis at regular interval for maintaining the integrity of servers Maintaining Active Directory services and DNS2.
Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions.
Assist in the deployment of new systems and technologies.

Security Management:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents.
4.
Backup and Disaster Recovery:
Monitor the scheduled backups Test and validate disaster recovery plans.
5.
Documentation:
Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
6.
Collaboration and Support:
Provide technical support to end-users and assist with issue resolution.
Collaborate with other IT teams to address cross-functional issues.
7.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Requirements:
1.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
2.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in operating systems Windows Active Directory Services including DNS, DHCP Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware).
Experience with system monitoring and management tools.
Basic knowledge in Citrix Infrastructure3.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
4.
Problem-Solving:
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
5.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $30/hr to $40/hr.
Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location and industry.
