Chubb is seeking an innovative VP of Smart Data Management to develop 360 views of data Reporting:
To SVP, Analytics Enablement Head
Responsibilities:
Primary focus is on building 360 views of data assets based on external and internal data, both structured and unstructured.
These data assets will also include modeled data, enriching the value of these assets.
Explore new external data assets both structured and unstructured to help augment existing 360 data assets as well as building data sets for new domains.
Build these data assets on modern data architecture by using cloud and associated services in Azure.
Implement a smart data catalog and data knowledge base, ensuing the tribal knowledge is shared with the organization.
Organize data inventory by deploying a data catalog and capture information about processes, people and platforms associated with those data sets.
Drive the creation and maintenance of the data lineage by leveraging data catalog to increase the visibility for the technical as well as business teams.
Will lead a team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers to perform complex analytics and data preparation tasks; Measure performance of data solutions implemented via API s, BI dashboards etc.
; spearhead data labeling efforts for machine learning models Work closely with the Data Science team to create analytics datasets ready for consumption.
Work with business stake holders to help identify opportunities to leverage Smart Data assets into business processes.
Drive utilization of data within and outside of the developing Chubb information ecosystem for discovery and analytics Participate in scrum meetings; Act as a subject matter expert to provide business support in defining requirements Design, and deploy an effective data quality strategy for Smart Data in conjunction with broader IT data management frameworks.
Create the data quality framework and promote the data trust across the organization.
Develop and maintain data quality rules.
Research data anomalies and perform root cause analysis.
Measure and monitor key metrics for the data quality to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, validity, uniqueness, and integrity.
Set policies, frameworks, and standards to manage Smart Data.
Design and deploy hierarchical structures and enable versioning support for reference datasets.
Ensure our MDM (360 data products) have solutions connect data across the enterprise for 360-degree view and insights.
Set the strategy for data integration & interoperability.
Design and document the processes to enable the data movement and consolidation within and between data sources.
Ensure the optimal design of data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation & aggregation.
Ensure that data privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
QualificationsMinimum 15 years in data management as a leader Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality, data migration and data quality Strong understanding of data management tools, big data environments Strong understanding of the Data Management concepts High level of collaboration with technology and business partners Strong written and communication skills Experience in P&C Insurance a plus.
In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $128,000 to $215,000.
The specific offer will depend on an applicant s skills and other factors.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
