Software QA Engineers test code at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. QA Engineers must be able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and/or user-level automated tools. Work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. Should have experience working with groups such as Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests and driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.
Must possess a strong track record of high quality desktop and/or mobile client applications; including experience with black box, gray box, and white box testing; strong debugging skills; and strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files. 3-5 years of QA experience required.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Government Security Clearing experience and will be familiar with BNY Mellon GSCX system.
The successful candidate will have:
- Exposure to Fed initiatives/mandates
- 3-5 years' experience in clearing/Settlement business
- MUST have knowledge of Government Security Experience (GCSX)
- Familiarity with BONY applications - Access Edge, Repo Edge
- Experience in a client facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Articulate and proactive personalityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
