QA Team Lead/BA
We have an immediate need to hire a QA Team Lead/BA, for a full time salaried position with an excellent benefits package. This position is based on Jersey City, NJ, with little to no travel, in our investment banking group.
In this role you will be involved in leading the UAT effort in a capital markets / prime brokerage domain. You will work as a BA that interfaces directly with users and assist with answering functional/technical user questions.
Prepare the Test Plan of the components developed.
Check/Review the Test Cases document
o Prepare System, Integration and User Acceptance test cases
Analyze requirements during the requirements analysis phase of projects.
Keep track of the new requirements from the Project.
Identify and arrange the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup.
Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager
Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers for iterations, testing and deployment activities. - Identify and escalate the major show stopper functional issues in the application to the Client.
Excellent team leadership and management skills in order to ensure that ample amount of work is allocated to all the testing team members and testing is performed within the established timelines.
Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines, etc.
Ensure content and structure of all the testing documents/artifacts is adequately documented and maintained.
Fairly good knowledge of Databases and must be able to constuct SQL for both static and transactional data analysis.
Should be able to analyze and quantify the data errors and anomalies that may exist in the data.
Monitor the errors so that spurious data can be recognized and, if possible, corrected. Work cross-teams to ensure that the data anomalies get resolved.
Come up with the automated test procedures that can be developed to test the data as well as the application components.
Preferably have knowledge of capital markets and prime brokerage with familiarity of different types of instruments.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

o Testing experience
o Team Lead Experience
o Good communication to interface with the client and Business IT teams
o Technology background preferably Java technologies
Must have investment banking experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
