The Data Network Production Support (DNPS)Manager position will oversee the build, day-to-day operations and maintenance of data network services, including network routers, load balancers and related components to ensure high levels of availability and security for the supported business applications. This Manager positionwill:
?Leads a team of 5 8 associates supporting 9 corporate location, 100
satellite offices, 2-3 major data centers servicing approximately 6000 employees and 6 million clients.
?Participate in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
?The candidate will be a key team member on strategic or enterprise-wide technology projects or issues, and may be asked to provide technical leadership as such.
?Overall configuration of an enterprise network environment with appropriate hardware, operating systems software, applications software, and communications components to support business requirements.
?Establishing methods and procedures for use of the network systems including hardware, software, and communications devices.
?Coordinates and ensures the standard implementation of policies, procedures and systems operations with support personnel.
?Interfaces with Engineering and Services teams to ensure alignment and smooth transition of incidents, problems and project deliverables
?Reassesses the effectiveness of network hardware, software, and communications performance.
?Analyzes and resolves network hardware, software, and communications problems using diagnostic software and/or technical troubleshooting processes.
?Monitors the hardware to ensure it is properly maintained.
?Coordinates the acquisition of and contracting for hardware, software, and information technology services (including maintenance).
?Conducts on-going network system audits to evaluate the utility and efficiency of the system's hardware, software, and communications components and the effectiveness in meeting the
This role will involve people management, including project/support oversight, personnel development and HR responsibilities. ?Provide 24/7 on-call leadership support
?Responsible for establishing procedures & automations to mitigate risk
?Ensure system diagrams and operational readiness procedures are current
?Identify production liabilities and assign solution tasks
?Analyze statistics and Incidents to develop and execute availability improvement plans
?Manage vendor relationships
?Ensure compliance with established industry rules, regulations and best practices
?Ensure compliance with . policies and procedures
Oversee all network changes and implementations to reduce potential risks to clients
?Plan and direct schedules for a team of network engineers driving towards100% system availability and redundancy
?Oversee the implementation of process and procedural improvements
?Provide leadership by assisting Network Operators in escalated production incidents
?Conduct regular staff meetings
?Produce weekly reports and updates to senior management
?Evaluate Associate performance on a quarterly basis and recommend training where required
?Effectively manage team resources to ensure redundant and available support
Show managerial courage and technical direction
?Communicate to Senior Management critical liabilities associated with designated support environment
?Provide outage and service restoration reports Senior Management
?Ensure excellent service to all Production Support clients and business partners
?Communicate process and operational changes to department staff.

Liaise with the Change Control Board and coordinate impactful changes with cross functional technology and business departments
?Over the planning and execution of OS upgrades across the various platforms based off security requirements and/or feature updates.
?Confirm and monitor configuration compliance against defined standards.
?Ensure the creation of appropriate documentation for operation of the network.
?Develop and Implement testing of applications and scripts.
Participation in meetings/workshops with partners on recurring or major-impacting issues, status meetings on purchases, consulting services, etc.
o Extensive network systems administration experience within e-commerce or financial services industry.
o Knowledge and understanding of computer and network system requirements and standards.
o Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP networking, including all the following:
o Hardware: Cisco 2900, 4000, 6500, Nexus 7000, RSM, MSFC, SFM, 3600, 7200, ASR, PIX, ASA, Juniper Netscreen, Citrix Netscalers, and Riverbed Steelhead.
o Protocols: TCP/IP, HSRP/VRRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, SNMP, MPLS, Multicast, QoS, WCCP, and IPSEC
o Infrastructure: LAN, WAN, and MAN
o Network Management: Network Instruments Observer, Solarwinds Orion, BMC BCAN, and Juniper NSM
o 7+years Cisco specific experience
