Position
Summary:
Assist in the development of Network designs recommendations/plans/schematics for regional network/communications infrastructure with input from Regional Architect and Sr. Network Engineers.
Directs the actions of less experienced staff on a project basis.
Assists, trains and coaches staff on network and other technical issues.
Develops and implements network solutions considering the hardware and software systems, desired enhancements, and system objectives. Understands technical needs of the business.
Serves as subject matter expert for Network Management projects.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested. The Ideal Candidate will have:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
6-9 years of experience in networking or related technology.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Knowledge of current operating systems and software, LAN/WAN and networking communications technology
Analytical, decision making, organizational and communication skills.
