Job
Summary:
The Director of Operations will maintain oversight of program operations, ensuring that the schools mission and vision are upheld. The DO will be responsible for all state reports and school performance. The DO must: ensure that the division's daily activities run smoothly; set parameters to judge how effectively and efficiently the organization is operating, and; evaluate and review business procedures to find the most effective processes. The DO is responsible for overseeing and reviewing the work of management executives, formulating policies and planning the use of materials and human resources to help the programs maximize productivity. This is a virtual position with between 20 to 50% travel time depending on the season.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support Business Developers in determining the MJB model that best fits the prospective client's needs.
Attend sales presentation meetings and meet with prospective clients as needed.
Provide ongoing training for Business Developers on MJB product and pricing.
Review Salesforce reports regularly to ensure regional staff is maintaining all necessary information.
Documentation of meetings in SalesForce, including any client concerns and how they're being addressed.
Ensure that Salesforce contains current and accurate content for all MJB clients.
Facilitate and manage hand-off of the client relationship from Business Development for start-ups.
Ensure development of client relationship through consistent communication.
Work proactively with Regional Controller, Program Directors and clients to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Effectively manage and develop direct reports through supervision and performance feedback.
Manage client relationships:
o Attend and lead meetings with key stakeholders in operations, finance and sales.
o Attend all Board Meetings or appropriate District-level meetings and make monthly client contact.
o Address and resolve major issues with clients.
Participate in all start-ups, contract renewals, and disengagements.
Oversee and manage financial activities within the designated region, including management forecasts.
Timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Drive a high percentage of new contacts transitioned to Alternative Education Team within 60 days of contract execution.
Document progress through meeting minutes and action plans.
Quarterly Client Satisfaction Ratings.
Meet or exceed gross profit targets.
Monthly reduction of A/R balances in the 90 day and older category.
Continuous decreases from red to yellow to green measures on monthly L2 dashboard.
Number of executed deals which are aligned with current models and meet P&L target.
Number of quarterly objectives met toward completion of year-end goals and evidence of performance improvement.
Ability to lead direct reports and hold them accountable to measurable targets
Ability to communicate effectively and properly, both orally and in writing with diverse audiences.
Other projects, tasks or responsibilities assigned by SVP Ops or SLT.
Background:
Bachelors Degree; Masters preferred
Minimum of 10 years business experience
Education Industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge of project management and project management software

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
