Job Summary
The position is for a multi-functional support for the Market Control Department. The candidate will support the Derivatives and Credit derivatives Trading Desks. Business analytical skills are required for the daily control and support of the Credit Derivative portfolio including support functions for the daily market data snap, importing and uploading processes. The candidate will support credit default swaps , and act as potential back up for other products supported within the team such as FRAs, Caps/Floors, Interest Rate Swaps and Swaptions, internal FX spot and Forward trades, Fixed income and Listed Futures. Perform reconciliatory functions to ensure that all necessary data is entered accurately into either front or back office systems and monitoring end of day batches.
Primary Job Responsibility
Maintain production of daily P/L and market risk management reports
Perform a first level review and analysis of data for accuracy, completeness and validity of balances (Estimates)
Review and analyze final P/L reports data for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely and accurate production of regular reporting.
Perform reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger uploads.
Perform analysis of valuation breaks as they relate to resolution of identified discrepancies
Generate report outputs for distribution to supported departments as required
Ensure timely and accurate production of regular reporting.
Minimum 2-3 years of P&L reconciliations and product control experience.
Good understanding of financial products and pricing coupled with strong technical skills including MS Excel.
Knowledge of Bloomberg and VBA a plus.
