Lead Business Intelligence Developer
Responsibilities:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Developer with NoSQL in Jersey City, New Jersey (NJ).
Responsibilities Include:
Partner with various business owners to understand short and long-term needs and delivery best-in-class solution Implementing and supporting big data tools and framework for the enterprise data warehousing and analytics needs Implementing and supporting ETL and data ingestion applications Monitor performance and recommend hardware and software needs Work with Offshore Partners to deliver and support business needs Lead position advising management on what should be done with hands on responsibilities REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse experience preferably with Microsoft BI and Business Objects Lead experience Experience with Big Data NoSQL Database design and modelling, preferably with MongoDB Experience with Big data ETL/Stream Processing Tools such as Flume, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Storm, Spark Experience with Data gathering, discovery, research and analytical abilities to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address user needs Preferred experience with Big Data querying tools such as Pig, Hive, Scala, Impala Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles Written communication skills that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations Ability to drive quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test plans and leading the execution of testing (Unit and UAT) Ability to lead and provide guidance to Offshore BI Developers and Onsite BI Consultants Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and best practices is preferred Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
